The Power of Purposeful Living
How Finding My Why Transformed My Life and Inspired My Books

“He who has a why to live can bear almost any how.” — Friedrich Nietzsche.
Have you ever felt like you’re just going through the motions — ticking off tasks, meeting deadlines, yet feeling unfulfilled? That was me for a significant part of my life. I was working hard, achieving goals, and earning a living, but something was missing. It wasn’t until I discovered my “why” that everything made sense.
My purpose gave me clarity, motivation, and, most importantly, a sense of fulfillment that had eluded me for years. It became the driving force behind my personal growth and the inspiration for my books. In this blog, I’ll share how finding my “why” transformed my life and how purposeful living can help you create a life that matters.
The Early Years: Living Without a Compass

Education was our hope for a better future, but it came with its struggles — studying under limited resources and balancing responsibilities.

My father’s securing a government job marked a turning point for our family. We moved to a bigger city, and I pursued my studies with determination. I eventually earned an engineering degree and later transitioned into the IT industry. By all societal standards, I was “successful.”
But deep inside, I often wondered, “Why do I feel so restless?” Even as I climbed the corporate ladder, this nagging question remained unanswered. I was working for the sake of working, with no deeper meaning guiding my journey.
The Discovery of My Why
The COVID-19 pandemic became an unexpected period of reflection. With more time, I turned to self-help books, journaling, and yoga. These practices helped me look inward, and a recurring theme kept surfacing: purpose.
