The Story of Ganesha and the Curse of the Moon

On the night of Ganesh Chaturthi, after receiving offerings of his favorite sweets, particularly modaks, Ganesha was riding back home on his trusted mouse. After indulging in a few too many sweets, his belly became large. Suddenly, a snake crossed his path, startling the mouse, and as a result, Ganesha fell to the ground.
