Once upon a time, the great sage Narada visited Mount Kailash, the abode of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati, and offered them a divine fruit, said to be the Fruit of Knowledge. This fruit possessed extraordinary powers and could grant immense wisdom and knowledge to whoever consumed it.
