Who is Brahmacharini?
Brahmacharini is the ascetic form of Goddess Durga. The name “Brahmacharini” comes from the Sanskrit words Brahma (meaning “the ultimate reality” or “knowledge of the universe”) and Charini (meaning “one who practices”). Her name can be understood as “the one who seeks divine knowledge.”
